Minimising people-related risks
LisettE Howlett, MLH Global HR By identifying your organisations' people risks, you have the opportunity to make improvements that prevent problems arising. There is an additional benefit: this action also signals to employees that you mean it when you say that Ôyour people are your greatest asset'.
While the first two focus on a crisis which is external to the organisation and thus outside its control, they also draw attention to key areas of Ônormal' business where, managing people risks, offers business opportunities. The briefing deals with each issue in turn and identifies some of the people risk implications and potential solutions. Use the checklist to find out whether you have the policies and practices in place to minimise the risks and avoid disasters. If you are a subscriber, click here to read the full briefing .
